I am going to get caught up for this month. I have promised myself to be thankful publicly for things this month! so here it goes
I AM THANKFUL...
Day 1- My job- a school teacher and many lost their jobs in Texas this year!

Day 2- That I live in the Country!

Day 3- That I married the cowboy of my dreams!
Day 4- That live in a community that pulls together and takes care of there own.
Day 5- THAT MY HUSBAND WORKS SO HARD. (to be continued on tomorrows post)

Day 6- That I have a 2 year old son that want to ruff-house on Sunday mornings.

Day 7- That it is now light in the morning when I drive to school so I don't have to dodge deer and other wildlife on the dirt roads! ( I recently hit deer #3 for the year and it will require bummer #3 replace on my poor suburban!)

I would love to know what you are thankful for. Please respond!

WHERE HAS SUMMER GONE!!!!
Update on the piggies the tri-colored was named BROWNIE and the crazy haired female ended up being HAWK. (short for mohawk).

I am spending the next 3 days in San Antonio at a CSCOPE conference. I am trying to look at it as a mini- learning vacation! I am learning lots of new things that I hopefully will incorporate into my classroom!

I can't believe that school will start soon and I will have to say goodbye to summer!
Did any do anything great this summer! I haven't done anything really exciting but would love to hear ya'lls!

Sorry to be rambling but I am trying not to fall asleep in the a cold boring conference room.

Well as ya'll know I teach science and I have found the best classroom pets are guinea pigs. (thanks to the crazy teacher next to me, she started me on them!) I have a veiled chameleon and a bearded dragon but I have found that most of my problem students tend to work better holding one of my piggies. Its a crazy easy behavior control technique. So this weekend I drove down 4 hrs to see my parents and then we treked an hour the east side of dallas to pick up 3 new piggies. Yes I am crazy! But I am telling you these are the best pets ever! And Tripp just loves them as you can see below he had to hold one on the way home.... Then we had to stop at then mall cause you know we don't have one way out west! I put them in the diaper bag and the girls shopped with us!We need name suggestions please there are 3 females only 2 are mine the other is for a friend.

TEXAS TECH update!

Well I am half way through my 3 weeks of summer school at Tx Tech University! I am working on a Masters of Interdisciplinary Science. (fancy way of saying integrating math and science)
I have to say its not to bad or as bad as I thought it would be. It really feels like an Adult summer camp. I go to my physics class in the morning and then layout at the pool in the afternoon. I have met many wonderful teachers that have come from all over the state of Texas! (side note 30 teachers from all over the state still have their jobs... at this moment AMEN!) Before I arrive here a week and a half ago I was almost discouraged about the state of our education system. But this has really been and uplift that there are others around the state that feel the same way.

Well I have made it through 3 weeks of summer Grad School. I have 1 day left of this summer class and then headed home.

We celebrated Tripp's 2nd Birthday Saturday at the local park. He was only interested in the presents and eating the cake...( I don't blame him at all) I would like to thank all the friends that came out in the heat to celebrate with us, ya'll are all so great!

Well I returned from the Grand Canyon... I did bring all the kids back! ( I took 4 science club kids!)None went over the edge! It was breathe taking! Reminds me of how small we really are on this planet of mass things. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed the trip!

Friday the 13th! I am not really superstitious but it was a weird Friday! ONLY 10 day of school!
Came home to the nice (wind blowing) weather and decided to pay outside with Tripp. He is in the stage where he wants to be just like Daddy so he wears his boots and hat everyday, everywhere. Mainly because I gave up on fighting him to wear other shoes with shorts. My morning were starting out with him crying all the way to school because his boots didn't fit... So I broke down and bought another pair... I was trying to wait because I (only the mom) thought that they would be hot in the summer in Texas.... But Tripp obviously thinks they are fine in the 100 degree weather. The only thing he loves more than his hat and boots is his DOG (skeeter)!

Well I am making it ONLY 12 DAYS still summer. But my job doesn't stop there! I am taking kids to the Grand Canyon the last weekend of this month! Yes I have lost my mind! The Science Adventure Club is taking a big ADVENTURE!

Oh and did I mention that Tripp will be 2 on the 4th of June! I really cant believe it! He has become such a little man inside that baby body!

Wow I can't believe that is already MAY!
The school year is almost over... 1 more month... We are out at the end of may and let me tell you the kids are ready. I am not looking forward to having to go to Tx Tech for 3 weeks of summer school, but it will be worth it for that master's degree. Hope everyone is having a great month! Tripp loves to ride and play with his TRACTORS!

Well I roped this weekend for the 1st time in 5 years... I have to say I am hurt'n this morning but it sure felt good to rope! We had a blast we went over to the hill and cooked hamburgers and roped all afternoon. Cowboy Steve was wonderful he helped our niece practice and she is sooo cute. Sorry not many pictures we all had our hands full...Wish more spring weather would roll through but I don't think mother nature is ready for winter to quite be over yet!

Well thanks to Blackfoot guide service we hunted geese last Friday. It was cold but it was a great trip with my Sister, Mom, Dad, and a couple of friends. Hope you enjoy the pictures we really had a good hunt and had funny shooting pigeons!

Wow can you believe that is already 2011! I have a few thing I want to do in the new year... I am not calling them resolutions because I don't want to do them for a few months then give up sooooooooo I am going to call them my 2011 Actions...

Put Christ first and more openly trust in the Lord.
Blog about my life every week!(since I a gave up on scrap booking!)
Help the students at my campus pass TAKS Test by 80%.
Support my husband and our farm/ranch mentally and physically.
Cherish every free moment with my two boys (Cowboy Steve and little Tripp).
Work out at the gym at least 2 times per week.
Tell people no and mean it. ( don't take on to much to do)

If you have a new years action plan share... I would love to see what yall are doing in 2011!
By the way we are spending New Years Eve at home on the couch watching movies.... Safer and cheaper that way!

I am thankful for my family. Cowboy Steve is stripping cotton and has been really worn out lately. I am so ready for a break from school, and Tripp is finally over pneumonia. Wow we had some family pictures made the other day by a friend and they turned out good in the awesome cotton crop. Hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving and enjoy the holiday.

Well Cowboy Steve did well at the Texas Tech Ex's Reunion Rodeo. He won 1st and 2nd in the Team Roping. I can't tell you how proud I am! He is on a roll, every year for the last 4 years that he has gone he has won something and he was only 2 pts from the saddle this year!

Well here are my new handmade boots which I just love but they hate me! Anyone know why we put ourselves through the pain of new boots???? I swear I always say never again am I breaking in a new pair of boots... Then I do it again! Well they will feel great if I just keep pushing through the pain and the new! Below is a picture of my blister from wearing them! And after I took it, it looks like I need to exfoliate but that is baby powder on the bottom of my foot! They look really old..... Half my heal is gone. Cowboy Steve did say he was proud of me for not complaining and just wearing them.

Youth Bullriders World Finals 2010

Well I drove down to Fort Worth to help my mom with 4k Silver at the bull riding. First this post is not meant to offend any past, present or future bullriders!!! I have sat in a a booth with my mom and watched all ages of bull riders walk by and they all walk the same.... Kinda funny to me! I mean I rodeo growing but this is a whole different crowd! So serious all the time!The little mutton busters this morning were my favorite. They get so excited when the make the whistle!(and the dang things don't even buck!) Then by late to tonight I will get to watch the big boys ride bulls again.... Long days but I have to say the people watching was well worth the 4 hour drive!

Well I have to say that 105 degree day are not very nice around these parts.... Tripp and I stay hemmed up in the house till evening time. Last night we went over to Cowboy Steve's cousins to rope steers and the kids roped calves. I have been against taking Tripp out at night lately due to bugs and mainly his bed time is 8pm. I gave it because it was such a beautiful night. Tripp is walking not walking well but he want you to help him walk everywhere which is very tiring. I have to say beside the bugs the evening was really nice.
Tomorrow is our 4 year wedding Anniversary. I really can't believe that it has been that long. I am so blessed.

Red River Vaction 2010

Well over the 4th of July weekend we went to Red River NM. It was and adventure.... We stayed in a cabin in Angel Fire for the weekend but hauled Cowboy Steve's Parent's Camper trailer up there for them to stay 2 weeks. We had 4 blowouts and a hose issue it took 10 hours to get there when it really should have taken about 5 1/2... I have to say it started out as the vacation from h*!! But I did get to see some friends that moved to a ranch outside of Roy that we hadn't seen in 6 months.. I miss them dearly. Below are the pictures to tell the story! Enjoy!!!!!

Well lots of farming has been going on our here and Tripp's new word is TRACTOR.. (how the kid says that but won't say moma??? idk) Anyways we have been doing lots of yard work on the little tractor and Cowboy Steve brought home a toy tractor for Tripp to play on. Okay well Tripp is doing great and we are starting to enjoy summer now that it's almost over. I am trying to spent time with him before school starts and Cowboy Steve starts up with the farming all day every day. We are kinda in a down time for farming at the moment... Cotton got sprayed now we are just waiting for it to grow.

It took me 30 mins to get him to get in the water, then I couldn't get him out!

Well sorry I have been gone so long it has been really crazy here on the ranch! Tripp is still recovering from the staph boil and now has a all over fungal infection we are treating... Cowboy Steve has been roping late every nite this week and I am just worn out.... I took Tripp to Lubbock today to see the Peds doc about the rash he has had and she stated "Its a really made internal yeast infection!" Well that can't be good! She assured me he should be good by the weekend... Cowboy Steve is up at a ranch rodeo this Saturday and I hate to say I am dreading it due to the heat and humidity! I am ready to jump back in to the scene cause he loves it so much but it just HOT! Is that bad of me?!? Well I am off to get some shut eye.

ONE CRAZY MONTH!

OKAY I AM SORRY! For leaving you all hanging with Tripp's boil we got caught up with it and I had no time to blog. Tripp got out of the hospital after 4 days then a 5 days after that they cut the boil open and drained it.... Gross is all I am going to say. ( don't want to make reader sick with details)... Then the weekend rolled around and I had to leave him with Cowboy Steve to go Texas Tech University to work on my Masters Degree classes. I returned Monday with a spider bite on my hand that they cut open and drained Tuesday morning! Ya can you believe that!( it hurt like h*!!) I then had to load up and drop Tripp off at his Great Grandma's house ( 300 miles from my house but on the way) so I could go to San Antonio for a conference! I was in San Antonio from Wed- Saturday. Then drove back for my sisters wedding reception at my parent's house Saturday night and the transformer for their electric blew out! Yes that means we had all these people over and no electricity so we did what we could and moved them all outside.... Thanks goodness most was family and didn't complain. I am now trying to gather clothes and groceries for this weekend we are head to Red River for the 4th. Whewwwwww I am going to take a breath at some point this summer I hope!

AWFUL WEEKEND ALREADY!

Well it has been a rough 2 days in the hospital with Tripp.

Thursday morning I took him to the clinic for hard bump on his leg... They said oh no worries it just a small abscess and we will cut it open and drain it. Well they cut it open but nothing came out so they packed it and sent us home. Well that was before lunch by 3 pm he had a fever of 104.3 so I drove 90 mph really in my new suburban ( i didn't think it would really go that fast) back to the clinic/ rural hospital. They got his temp lowered and said would would have to stay while they gave him iv antibiotics.... Well that was Thursday it is now Saturday afternoon and we are still waiting for the boil/absess or the devil as i call it to begin to drain... His white blood cell count has now gone down to 13 and 10 is normal it was at 18 yesterday. May the antibiotic will work and we won't have to go to Lubbock to have it cut open. Please pray for him and us that we don't have to wrangle him much longer. I will keep you posted...

Well we were off to Lubbock yesterday to the Peds Dr. to get Tripp's 1 year check up. Everything looks great... He was not happy with the shots but the pics are cute. Birthday pictures will be posted soon..

Well this is the time of the year that I get really stressed out as an educator! The kids are ready for school to be out and I am ready for the all to pass the TEST!
I am also trying to get over all the rain we had last week over 10 inches in 2 days. Cowboy steve has fixed water gaps for 3 days and is tired of fencing!
So I promise to not post gripes this week anymore just had to vent a little! :(

Well Cowboy Steve is my hero! He got me a new suburban! It has more bells and whistle than I know how to use!

Then on the way home we tried to take Tripp's picture in the blue bonnets but he would not cooperate. He is really going through a phase right now where he hates new textures and he freaked out in the flowers....

Tripp feeding cows he loves it... When Cowboy Steve blows the siren he begins to make a moo noise and calls them to the truck! I love to watch him... I honked my horn the other day and he started calling the cow in town!

Well we did Easter Dinner Friday night on the hill with Cowboy Steve's parent and sister, it was great! Then we loaded in the truck and head to my parent a 4 hour drive... Well I have been gone since last Monday with 10 Freshman from my school! I am almost home stranded in the airport at Amarillo since 8 am this morning and its now 11:15 and Cowboy Steve is on his way. We had lots of snow and the bus couldn't come pick us up like planned, so we had to wait for 2 parents to make the trek in the snow! I am going to post pictures from day 4. more soon to come!

Well for those that don't know I am taking 10 freshman kids from school to the Grand Canyon over spring break! Yes I have lost my mind....
No I really am excited... I think! We leave early Monday morning for the airport to fly to Las Vegas. Then we fly out the red eye friday night! So yes I am spending my Spring Break with KIDS what am I thinking? I am sure it will be a vacation I will never forget!

Well it was a normal Sunday morn'n till I see a calf trotten across the front pasture. I knew that Cowboy Steve was working some cattle down at the barn but when snot (the guard dog) was going crazy, I went to the door to yell at him to quit and there it was about a 600 pound steer. Cowboy Steve and Cowboy Stephen both got injured while the big calf was escaping from the shoot. Stephen our dear friend ended up breaking his ankle while they were trying to wrangle the beast to the ground and Cowboy Steve has a few broken ribs.

I have been sick this last week and Tripp is trying to change his bedtime. Soooooooo I gave in although I was really worried in trying to put Tripp down early but keep him asleep till 6am. Well it worked the first night! He ate food about 7 and took a bottle at 9:30 and he slept till 6am this morning. AMEN. We usually have to wake him up after he has already gone to bed to feed him and I hate to do that. We he was happy and chipper like every morning.

I am back for good I PROMISE!!!! I have taken a break and now I am devoted to blogging I feel so out of the loop with the rest of the world. After teaching Kids all day and have a baby to play with all day I need some ADULT time! I have to tell a funny on Cowboy Steve! He bought a sweat suite from the John Deere House the other day for Christmas and he is so sweet the pants were to small so I asked him to take them back before I wrapped them to put under the tree. So he takes them back and the guy asked him I thought you said those other pants looked to big, so he got the smaller size to begin with and I THOUGHT THEY WERE TO SMALL. He exchanges them for the bigger size and brings them home. He couldn't wait for Christmas and last night tells me to open them and put them on....(like I didn't know what was in the box!) Well he was write the new ones are to big but I am not going to tell him that!I am proud that he didn't wait till Christmas day to buy something! I am just going to pull the drawstring up and go on about!!!! Merry Christmas from WEST TEXAS all!

Well I hate to admit but I have fallen into the facebook spell! I love it! But anyways back to blogging! I promise now that school has started I will be back! (and not only because FB is blocked at school) Today I am at training on the computer and I love learning new stuff. But I really don't want school to start.... Wow Anniversary Already!

Cowboy Steve and I have been married 3 years and it has flown by! I really don't feel like it has been that long! I am blessed to have found the man that will put up with me. 1 week from Surgery

Well Tripp has gained almost 2 pounds!!!!!! We now have medicine for colic at night. Maybe mommy won't lose her sanity. We went to the doc today and the 3 incisions look great. He is a little constipated but that is understandable after all the food he has eaten in a week... After a long week of not getting anything to stay down so that it could come out! Maybe tomorrow we will get out to Clarendon to see one of mommies friends for lunch... Just depends on how the night go. But on the up side we both had about a 2 hour nap today that was God sent! Once we get back into a routine I promise I will blog more.
Something funny! If you know Cowboy Steve you know our first child Skeeter. ( a jack russell) Well while we were at the hospital taking care of Tripp he was MIA from headquarters. Although no one told us that he was missing because we were stressed already. So now Skeeter has gone MIA with my parents on our honeymoon and with Cowboy Steve's parents last week.
I have to admit that I have been cheating on blogger with Facebook... I love it ! it is so neat that I found a bunch of people that I went to school with.

Out of Surgery

Tripp made it through the surgery this morning and all went great. The doc says we should have any trouble feeding now. They took Tripp about 6:30 this morning to pre-op and then about 7 they carried him back to the operating room. We waited patiently for the Doc to come out after he was done..... (35 mins later) He came out and said everything looks good and he only has 3 little incisions. He finally made it back to the room and was very drunk off the drugs they gave him. He finally went back to sleep and then we gave him 1/2 oz of pedialite and repeated it an hour later. HE KEPT THE 1 OZ DOWN! Which to me is a miracle. He since then has had about 1 oz of formula and is snoozing on his daddy's chest. I think they are both snoring. Thanks to everyone who has helped us out.

One long night with pyloric stenosis

Man I have never watched the clock like tonight.We can't feed him anything and its really hard to watch him be hungry. Tripp should go to surgery at about 7:30 in the morning. We are at Covenant Childrens Hospital in Lubbock. The doc says that Tripp should be able to eat by tomorrow afternoon and keep it down. We will have to stay the night due to only being 3 weeks old. Which I will not mind being somewhere were if something is wrong someone can help us. I want to thank both of our families for being here for us.

Okay we have seen the Doctor

Okay we have a diagnosis- pyloric stenosis. We will know shortly after the test get back if the surgery will be this evening or tomorrow. It is a very common problem, the opening to his small intestine is to small and needs to be made larger so that he can get some food. He vomits due to the fact that the formula has no place to go. So he will be fixed when we leave here. The surgery will be done in 8 mins and all the stitches will be inside so no major scars. He will be able to eat 4 hrs after he gets out of surgery. Please pray for us. We are so relieved that we now know what the problem is. Thanks for everyone that has help with everything.

Tripp to Lubbock

We have taken Tripp to the hospital in Lubbock for the spitting up/ vomiting issue. We are at Covenant Children's Hospital in the ER awaiting the surgeon. They will do a sonogram and dye test to see if the valve between the stomach and the small intestine is obstructed. If it is that means surgery. Please keep Tripp in your prayers and I will keep you posted.

We are having major issues with feeding. Tripp can't keep anything down. I have changed bottles, formula, and way of feeding him. He constantly spits up I mean vomits! ( I have never done so much laundry while sleep walking)He doesn't sleep very long and screams all the time. I am running on fumes. If you have any suggestion I am open. We went to the Doc yesterday and he thinks it is acid reflux, but I hate to give Tripp meds this early in life.... But I am very close. Please if you have the magic trick I would love to know what it is.

Happy Anniversary MOM and DAD! 28 years of marriage. I am so proud to be your daughter. And Dad happy father's day..... I will text you soon.
Now for a first, Happy Father's Day Cowboy Steve. I gave him his gifts this morning and he just seemed to glow!!! I have to say he saved the day this morning about 7 am. I went to the back door to let deaf dog out to use the bathroom and wham a kitten burst into the house! Like a bolt of lighting it ran through all Cowboy Steve's boots and bit me! All I can think is the thing is going to make it all the way to the bedroom and get in the bed with Cowboy Steve! So I run and close all the doors and it is in the living-room somewhere hiding! I went and woke Cowboy Steve up to help me. This kitten is vicious! We finally pinned him in a corner and Cowboy Steve grabbed it with a towel. Then he went flying out the door. Cowboy Steve is all upset because he wished he had got ahold of them when they were younger so they would be tame. Me I don't really care for cats and if the tom cat pee's on my truck again... Well I will let you image what will happen to him.

Man this pic was my salvation this last night. My three boys all together sleeping! The last 24 hour has been hell. Tripp had gas I think. He would just scream bloody murder for no reason and would sleep but about 45 minutes. I think we finally got it under control today. He is now sleeping in the swing and seems to be fine. Do you know how hard it its to search cures for gas on the internet at midnight with one hand while he was screaming????? Praise the lord for the internet. I think I would have lost it if I hadn't found something that work or a glimpse of hope of something that might work.

Man I really can't believe that yesterday was my 27th birthday. I want to thank everyone who cooked for me and for the gifts. I have to give my sister credit... The cake that she and Casey made was wonderful I think there is only one piece left. I am still hung up on the being 27 years old. Man I was sitting here thinking, I have almost been married 3 years in August. Man it has really flown by. In August, I am going to be in my 3rd year of teaching.... I am only 3 years from 30.... No just kidding. I think when Cowboy Steve hit 30 he was hot! ( But lord don't tell him that his head might explode. he is so proud of Tripp) Anyways thanks for making my birthday great.

1 week behind us!

Well yesterday we went to the clinic to get my staples out and get check up on me. All is okay for now.... I mean the swelling is getting worse and there is no explanation for it. It is really becoming painful. ( I shouldn't say painful i should say hurts.... breast-feeding was painful!) They removed my staples and I have to say that was a weird sensation. But the incesion looked good by the Doc's standards of course I can't see it so I just took his word for it. Still not driving. And I don't miss it! (weird)
Last night we has some friends come in from out of town for a rodeo. Cowboy Steve, Tripp and my mother went over to the Hill to rope and see the rest of the family. It was nice to see our friends that moved away about 3yrs ago. Their girls are so beautiful and full of life. We miss ya'll.
Yesterday Tripp was a week old! And he has found his THUMB! He doesn't quite suck on it the traditional way but ya know with Cowboy Steve as a daddy... NO I just kidding! The last picture will show you what I mean about the thumb! Very cute.
I want the thank my mother who has been here since they admitted me to the labor ward the first time. She is so supportive (emotional and physical) and reassuring! I really couldn't have done it with out her. I love you mom! Okay all the emotional stuff out of the way.
I am the stage where I am ready to be alone. I know that sounds awful! Really awful! Please don't take it that way! I am a home body and love to be in my home and have my time to myself. Now I just want to spend that time with my baby! That sounds really selfish doesn't it. Mom thanks for telling me its okay to feel that way. Okay enjoy the pictures I am feeling more comfortable with the new camera now so the pictures should get better.

Well we are making it! Cowboy Steve thinks he sick.... I think he is just exhausted! So he is going to be locked in the bedroom when he makes it home from gathering cows. I have feel really good. The only problem I have is that my feet are the size of an elephants! I probably am not sitting as much as I should but when I do sit down they still hurt. I just have so much to do and the over achiever is coming out strong! The formula feeding is going much better for both of us. I am less stressed (although I have dolly pardon boobs, I don't know why people want these thing!) and he burps and is sleeping longer. I have to say that was the hardest mommy decision to make and I am sure it will be only one of many! Thanks to Cowboy Steve, he helped to make me feel like it was okay and he backed me either way. I really think he wanted to feed formula because he knew how much it was hurting me....He is such a wonderful daddy!
I would like to thanks everyone who has offered to do things for me I really appreciate everything!!! It means so much!

Well we are home and I am wishing we would have stayed one more day.... I am having trouble breast feeding... I have done some research online and I think I have a low to non milk supply! So I broke down and gave him formula he his really sleeping well!!!! I mean I am watching tv and learning many things from mommy websites.... We got home tonight and didn't have power until about an hour ago 2am. Yes that is my luck! A C-section and no power all in the same week! I am so glad that Tripp is here but man I am hurt'n. It's really hard for me to sit still and do nothing so I might have inflicted the pain upon myself! Well I will post pictures in the morning when I can get the adapter and some new pics. Goodnight.

Okay well I think I might have found reality! I am really going to have a baby in about 2 weeks.... I just can't believe that he is all most ready to make an entrance! Doc said that he will be here by the 17th which was the original due date but they moved it to the 10th. Anytime after the 4th is great, cause my mom can be here with me. Here is snot. I think he has the biggest ears of any dog I have ever owned! He is so good at his job though! He barks at anything that comes up to the house, even me! Steve tied him to the back of the feed truck the other day and every time the cow siren would blow he would howl.... Now he does it when I honk my horn! Sooooooo funny. Well my husband has been gone for 2 days working on a ranch up on the Caprock. So I haven't cooked in 2 nights! I just come home and sit my big bella down! Last night he called to ask if everything was going good... The horses, the dogs, the washing of the new baby clothes and then he asked me well how are the cankles????? I had to die laughing! It just caught me off guard, that he would even think of my poor purple swollen cankles!

Now, I have to tell everyone how hard Cowboy Steve is trying to get our grass to grow! (remember we farm for a living also) This is our second sewing and still now grass..... To make him feel better I told him if we have grass you will just have to mow it!!! (he says that I am to scientific, I think he means literal!) Really all the native grass was fine with me but he wants it to look like a golf course green... To much work if you ask me but I admire him for his efforts!

Sonogram on Wed!

Well we went to hospital ( not the clinic like usual) to get a sonogram.... I was a bit leery, last time it gave me a stomach ache for hours... But we got back to the little room and the guy was really nice. He didn't really say much the first 20 mins and I began to worry! I guess Cowboy Steve could smell the fear and ask the tech guy if the baby looked alright? He said yes and that he was still a boy! Thanks goodness or she was going to have to wear blues and greens...... At the end of the sono he said that I measure at 36 weeks! I am only really 35 so that moves my due date up to June 10th. AMEN! I would really like to have him any day but my birthday the 15th! I guess I am headed back to headquarters ( the house) to clean house cause Cowboy Steve is off working so he won't get dirty what I clean until tomorrow!

Birthing Class

Well I have to say that I am very PROUD of Cowboy Steve!!!!! We met at the hospital last night for our child birth class. He even changed into clean clothes before he came to town! ( that was a suprize) Ended up that there are only two couple attending this session of the class which makes its nice... The other couple is due about 2 weeks after us and she teaches and her husband farms so we have lots of things in common. I really am beginning to feel more comfortable the more I learn from the class. I don't think that Cowboy Steve was uncomfortable with any of the information, but the instructor wanted him to sit indian style and he just can't do it. (which I had to laugh I didn't know that he couldn't do it!) Next week should be interesting he will have to learn to massage my back!!!! Hehehehe all those times that I rubbed his back. Heck if I remember correct that is what got me pregnant! Hehehehe! Not really ol'Tripp was planned and prayed for!

What is that stuff falling from the sky? It made it slippery to get to work this morning and got my clean truck really dirty! It really makes the kids bounce off the walls with weather like this... But I am not complain about the rain we need it! I am also thankful that Cowboy Steve gets to rest cause he will sure need it for all he is going to learn tomorrow at Child Birth Class!!!! Hehehehe I am so evil... NO NOT REALLY I am just excited to see how Steve handles the whole child birth experience... I mean he handles stressful situations great but when its his child and me????? I guess in about 38 days we will see...
